"High Country" by artist, Wm Bill Lewis.
I recently attended a memorial reception in Little Rock, for my late friend, Bill Lewis.
While remembering Bill with other artists, I commented that he had sent me an original painting as a get-well card when I was laid up several years ago in Parkland Hospital, Dallas.
Soon as I returned home I started tearing this place apart looking for the painting. Success! It was stuck inside a book of poems by Louis L'Amour, right where I put it. I recently moved and had placed it there for safe keeping. I wanted to share this little jewel with you. Thanks, Bill. Rest in peace.

Apple Barn at Picacho
Watercolor on 140 lb Arches Block. 10"x14"
I just completed this piece. Should have paid a bit more attention to my composition but pretty happy with some of the redeeming factors. A cropping may be in order.

Shadows on a Wall- San Patricio, NM
Another 3" x 5" watercolor study on Moleskine book paper.
I was working on this painting when I got the word that my friend, Bill Lewis had passed.
He lost the battle with Prostate cancer in St. Vincent, Little Rock, AR. So, this one is for Bill.

Full Moon Bridge
Watercolor on 140lb Arches - 8"x10"
In 2010, I spent several days painting on location at Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs, AR.
I recently did this watercolor from a photo and sketch which I did at that time.
